In 1997, Lightswitch formed in the city of Jacksonville, Florida. The pop punk scene was emerging and stronger than ever. Damascus fell in love with the style, and started the band. Lightswitch continued playing until 2002 and broke up. Now in 2024, Damascus is launching new sounds, and songs. Their style is fun, and punchy, leaving you with catchy melodies to sing along to.
